It was such an honor to have five aunties on the podcast this week! We got together with Star Cardinal, Kristen Kipp, and Maggie Johnston to talk about the powerful beings known as snakes, turtles, and salamanders. Throughout the centuries of colonization the narrative about these beings have been skewed and unfortunately misrepresented by religious organizations. Today we brought the narrative back to our traditional stories on what these beings can symbolize and mean when we encounter them on the Land or even in our dreams.
