“You can’t fight violence with violence, but when met with violence, it’s important to know how to defend yourself.”

– Souta Calling Last

2023 Update

This year Indigenous Vision will be across 3 states on May 5th. Our team members will be in Missoula, Phoenix, and Las Vegas handing out our self defense kits. Each kit includes a portable door lock, pepper spray, personal alarm, whistle, kubaton, and can opener. We are ensuring to let each recipient know that IV is not responsible for men experience harm from a woman defending her dignity and life. If you do receive one of our self defense kits, please ensure it is out of the reach of small children, please store them responsibly.

Check out our latest MMIWG podcast all about what we’re planning for May 5, 2023.

Join our grassroots community solution to the epidemic of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (#MMIWG)!

Indigenous people are a vital part of the ecosystem. Indigenous stewardship is often traditionally led by women, therefore, all sustainability efforts NEED the knowledge and participation of women. Help protect a sister, help protect the land, we are one.

Violence towards Indigenous people is the same as violence towards the land
